FPT announces partner ecosystem, launches AI Factory for Vietnam and Japan

The FPT AI Factory, which will be launched in Vietnam and Japan enables businesses of all sizes to expedite AI innovation with priority access to premium solutions and features through an exclusive pre-order.

Vietnam’s FPT has announced a new partner ecosystem that consists global technology vendors. The partner ecosystem will combine the expertise, resources, and networks of the vendors to unlock FPT AI Factory’s potential as a powerhouse for ever-growing AI innovation while reinforcing sovereign AI in Vietnam and Japan.

Among the vendors joining the ecosystem include NVIDIA, SCSK, ASUS, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, VAST Data, and DDN Storage. The collaboration will focus on four key objectives that includes promoting the development and operations of AI Factories in Vietnam and Japan to ensure it follows global standards as well as diversify a portfolio of AI products and services. Other objectives include enriching human technical capabilities and guarding data security and autonomy.

Japan and Vietnam have become favorable destinations as US manufacturers look to pivot their operations from China, especially with more tariffs expected in the future from the US on operations and manufacturing in China. FPT’s AI Factory will not only enable local organizations in Vietnam and Japan to gain momentum in their AI journey but also boosts the confidence of foreign organizations to work with FPT in their AI journey as well.

The FPT AI Factory

According to FPT, the AI Factory will leverage thousands of NVIDIA H200 and H100 Tensor Core GPUs with the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform, which includes NVIDIA NeMo, providing an all-inclusive stack for end-to-end AI development. Organizations, researchers, and innovators will also have access to scalable GPU supercomputing to cultivate sophisticated AI solutions with faster time-to-market while safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining sovereignty.

At the same time, the AI Factory enables customers to manage resources and processes expeditiously for large-scale AI and machine learning workloads. This allows them to achieve up to 45% better total cost of ownership.

The AI Factory stack will consist of four main product groups. The first is the FPT AI Infrastructure. Offering enterprise accelerated computing cloud services with the latest technology, top performance, flexibility, and scalability to accelerate model development, the system will have a unified management system with built-in security to allow complete control over the AI computing environment and data throughout the development process. This enables enterprises to enjoy first-rate infrastructure performance at a massive scale for most compute-intensive AI tasks.

The second stack is the FPT AI Studio. As a trusted and inclusive platform, AI Studio streamlines the AI creation process in a fast and safe manner. Businesses will have access to a comprehensive set of smart tools to effortlessly explore, develop, evaluate, and deploy custom models enriched and differentiated with corporations’ large-scale data.

The next stack is FPT AI Inference, which will be a robust platform that augments AI capabilities with a broad collection of high-performing models for immediate use. The stack enables businesses to leverage numerous foundational and FPT-developed models to rapidly fine-tune and deploy models tailored to industry requirements. Businesses can also scale these models in terms of size and number of usages for unique applications hosted on NVIDIA-Certified Systems.

Lastly, FPT AI Agents is a state-of-the-art platform to create and operate multi-lingual AI Agents. Fueled by the business knowledge base, AI Agents can custom models for specific tasks in customer service, corporate training, internal operations, and more. FPT AI Agents will also enable businesses to unlock unprecedented productivity, take service quality to new heights, transform the workforce, and achieve borderless innovation.

According to FPT, the AI Factory is already integrated with 20+ ready-to-use AI products and is built upon Generative AI for rapid AI adoption. It also provides instant results in elevating customer experience, achieving operational excellence, transforming the human workforce, and optimizing operating expenses.

The FPT Partner Ecosystem

Tech vendors that have partnered FPT have also voiced support for the FPT AI Factory.

Dennis Ang, Senior Director, Enterprise Business of ASEAN and ANZ Region at NVIDIA said as AI is reshaping nations and industries, leveraging the full-stack NVIDIA AI platform enables FPT to more efficiently scale its AI factory to support enterprises throughout the region.

Echoing Ang’s remarks is Jason Chung, Regional Director of East Asia and Indochina at ASUS. Chung mentioned that ASUS is one of the main partners of the NVIDIA Cloud Partner Program. With their experience in large-scale AI server deployment and operations, he said ASUS is excited to partner with FPT and NVIDIA in this pioneering venture.
